By car from middle/north Italy from Autostrada del Sole:

- Take the A1 motorway for Roma and exit for Firenze Certosa.
- Exit for Siena then Poggibonsi Nord.
- Follow signs for San Gimignano and at the roundabout turn left for Volterra. - After 4 kilometres exit for San Donato. The hotel is found in front of the little church.

From Pisa Airport:
- Follow signs for S.G.C. Firenze (Arterial road to Florence).
- Exit for Empoli Ovest (West) and follow signs for Siena then Certaldo then San Gimignano.
- At San Gimignano, exit the roundabout for Volterra.
- Continue as above.

From Florence Airport:
- Follow signs for Siena and exit for Poggibonsi Nord.
- Follow signs for San Gimignano and at the roundabout exit for Volterra.
- Continue as above.
